The Gray Realm

The Gray Realm is the term used to describe the "real world" in the context of the Shadowverse. That is to say, it is the world that most closely resembles our own--it is set on Earth, though some fantasy concepts are allowed to run a bit more wildly, and certain aspects of history may be changed a bit to make it more interesting. An example is that within the Gray Realm, General Patton never returned the Lance of Longinus to Munich.

All of the different universes within the Shadowverse are branched off from the Gray Realm, so one can also think of the Gray Realm as the "center" of the Shadowverse. Annwyn is the spiritual reflection of the Gray Realm, the Morphian Planes is the "land of dream" for the Gray Realm, and New Haven and Kaguya are both paths that the "future" of the Gray Realm might take. An exception is made for the Quantum Web, which isn't its own universe, but the space between all universes in the Shadowverse.

Note that though Annwyn and Morphian Planes are specifically the "spirit" and "dream" worlds of the Gray Realm, they also serve as the same for the universes that have branched off from the Shadowverse, and therefore apply equally to any other universes that have been seen in the Shadowverse.

The Gray Realm doesn't make much of an appearance in Shadowverse projects. It is shortly seen in Hurricane Simeon and Wanderlust.
