Character Sheet

Freedom has a pathological aversion to authority. Playful but often intentionally ignores people's personal boundaries, either to shake things up, or sometimes just to annoy them. She enjoys names and is prone to giving nicknames to companions and even treasured items, like her weapons. Freedom is quite young, but rarely speaks of her background. It's not that she had a bad childhood, but she doesn't believe in looking back.

Mannerisms and Appearance

Freedom is prone to snarking, and only meets peoples' eyes when intentionally trying to garner trust. She's tall and somewhat gangly with dark hair that looks black or blue, depending on the light, and silvery eyes.

Character Background

Freedom was spotted early on for her courage and her ability to think quickly and pull off complicated schemes. At 13, her parents enrolled her in a military academy to become a military tactician in service of her country. By age 15, she had just about enough of the military way of doing things and ran away to follow her own path.

At 17, she met up with a band of mercenaries who had been hired on the cheap to help a small village fight off some goblins. The mercenaries were having the worse of it, until Freedom dashed in and started shouting out daring plans. Her reckless courage and simple but effective strategies won the mercenaries' respect and she was taken on as their official tactician.

Fighting Style and Abilities

Freedom fights primarily with an old halberd she named "Uncle Stacy" for reasons known only to herself (she actually stole it from the academy when she fled). She throws everything into fighting the enemy, and always leads from the front, though she's not afraid to fight dirty. Not by any stretch of the imagination is she afraid to fight dirty. The goblins in the area have begun referring to her as "Urrk'hashesh," which roughly translates to "Facebiter."

In her spare time, she has studied the ways of the Warlock, and has even made a pact with the Fey. Her abilities as a Warlock are fairly minor, though, and occasionally uses Eyebite when in a tight corner. She claims this is why the Goblins call her "Facebiter." The actual reason is, of course, because she has been known to bite people's faces.
